PA Turnpike Begins Final Phase of All-Electronic Tolling

The Pennsylvania Turnpike is building the final phase of its All-Electronic Tolling implementation. Tolling locations at interchanges in eastern PA are being replaced with new highway-speed collection points using Open Road Tolling, which will capture EZ Pass and Toll-by-Plate payments without toll plazas or tollbooths. Nineteen new overhead gantries are being installed east of the Reading Interchange to the New Jersey line and will go live in 2025. Central and western portions of the Turnpike will see similar changes beginning in 2025. To learn more, click here.
